Dead Links
Only finding dead links to something you really want to read? Here are some options:
Coral Cache Network
Perfect for /.ed sites, this is basically an open web proxy. (and some /. user will have used it before the poor sever hosed itself.).
Simply change the URL you are trying to reach from
http://www.example.com/directory/page.html to
http://www.example.com.nyud.net:8090/directory/page.html
also, but less effective, for /.ings: http://www.mirrordot.org/
Google cache
Simply google for cache:www.example.com/page.html.
http://www.google.com/help/features.html#cached
Wayback machine
Want to go back to any point in time?
Prepend http://web.archive.org/*/ to your URL.
E.g. http://web.archive.org/*/www.example.com/page.html
Mantaining this page
