My name is Thomas. I think I might be a bit of a geek - not sure. I'm a C coder, and dabble in Python for kicks. I'm an electrical engineer (according to UCT), but mostly just a typist. Do I like Linux? ... nah ;-) I am a Debianite by the way (for now anyway.)

What do I do? Embedded systems, if that means anything to you... Real-time stuff. Right now I'm enjoying playing with Asterisk and VoIP in general. My speciality is most probably protocols.

I think that I should add that don't use gnome or any of it's bloated siblings. I use fluxbox by the way. ;-)
