Notes:
Xen is a virtual machine monitor, or hypervisor, used to run multiple instances of (possibly different) operating systems on one physical machine. Its functionality includes:
Virtual machines with performance close to native hardware;
Live virtual host migration between physical hosts;
Excellent hardware support.
We will demonstrate various aspects of administering a Xen machine including describing the admin tools, setting up networking and the fun bit: live migrations.
There will be a few xen-related prizes and give-aways for attendees courtesy of Frogfoot Networks.
