Steve van der Merwe

I am a full time linux fanatic and work for a software development company in Cape Town Magmatec doing mostly Java based software development (although I enjoy playing with python and ruby). I am 36, married to Karen and have 2 young children, Robert(7) and Georgie(4)

Hobbies: Cycling (road and MTB) , Gym , Linux of course ;-}

Favourite open source apps: FireFox, PPTP (VPN client), OpenOffice, Freemind (Java mind mapping tool), Ant (Java build tool) , Netbeans (Java IDE)
