Why I'm working on the wiki

Well, it needs to get a lot more input to reach critical mass where people start really using it (for example the legendary Gentoo wiki which rivals TLDP).

So I made it my mission to put up a page whenever I do anything (remotely) interesting that required me to do some research. (It also saves me having to do the research again next time).
