Noob Scale

The Noob scale indicates how apt a certain piece of software is for a new user. If software scores a 5, it means it is dead easy to use and it will make playing solitaire in Windows look difficult. If something scores a 4, it means it is easy, but there might be one or two places where a new user might find assistance. If it scores a 1, it means that you'll need tutorials or guides to use it, and that it might be more appropriate for advanced users. The Noob Scale will be indicated after a recommendation with a N:x, where x is the Noob Scale Factor (NSF).
