Donna is a guest speaker from Amsterdam, as she described herself:

I was thinking of telling about all the projects I've been involved with the past 7 years or so. Starting in the ASCII hacklab in Amsterdam, where the Genderchangers grrl group was started, to the Eclectic Tech Carnival, CodeYard and the Girl Geek Dinners Amsterdam. I'm a keen community advocate, promoting FLOSS, especially among women, raising awareness through skill-shares, workshops, get-togethers and so on.

CodeYard is my day job, and involves promoting Open Source and computer science in Dutch high schools.

I just really like sharing ideas and experiences and would also love to hear more about the ICT and Free Software "scene" in South Africa.
