Attending a talk

Who

Anybody interested in Linux and Open-source software is welcome.

When

6:30pm on the second and last Tuesday of every month, except over December and January when we usually take a break.

They are normally announced on the CLUG-Announce mailing rist the monday before the talk, and on the wiki Main Page.

We have a list of upcoming talks.

Where

Usually in the Lecture Theare of the (New) Chemical Engineering Building at the University of Cape Town.

Subscribe to the CLUG-Announce mailing list to be notified of the topic (usually some opensource application, utility or operating system) a few days before.

Dinner

A group of CLUG members (mostly committee) go out for dinner together after every meeting (and, in fact, on every Tuesday - just to avoid having to look at calendars).

Everyone is welcome to come along.

Presenting a talk

Please mail a committee member if you would like to volunteer to give a talk.

Resources for presenters (i.e. projector refresh rate, templates, etc.)

Past Talks

CLUG has been around for a while, and we have been host to many talks.

We are currently attempting to video talks.
